Rental Details: Additional Rental Items Lawn chairs $8 Preparation Fee There is a preparation charge of $200. This includes transfers to and from designated airport area hotels, vehicle preparation (including first supply of propane and toilet chemicals). Convenience Kit Convenience kits are charged at $65 per person, max $260. Our convenience kit includes dishes, cookware, pillows, linen, towels, sleeping bags and cleaning equipment. Extra Km $0.35 per mile $150 for each 500 Mile Package $55 per day unlimited mileage Pick Up and Return Time Monday through Saturday, Closed on Sundays Check-in or pick-up is from noon - 4:30 PM (please call our office prior to schedule a pick up time) Check-out or drop-off is from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM Transfer Transfer from/to Denver airport and airport hotels. US$ 35.00 surcharge for downtown pick up. Transfers are between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Please call the rental station upon arrival at your hotel or by 10:00 AM on the pick-up day at the latest to arrange for pick-up time and location. Cleaning We are very proud of the condition we keep our vehicles in (only non-smoking units). To avoid extra charges, please return vehicle clean inside and outside. $25 will be charged if holding tanks are not returned empty. $150 cleaning deposit is processed at time of rental and refunded up on return of clean unit. Smoking Policy Our vehicles are smoke-free. If you choose to smoke, additional cleaning charges may apply. Pets Sorry, pets are not allowed. Driving License/Driver's Age All drivers must possess a driver's license valid for the entire rental period An international driver's license is recommended for foreign tourists Minimum age is 21/25 years. Maximum age 75 years old. Additional Driver Fee Included Travel Restricted Areas Vehicles are not permitted to enter Mexico without prior authorization. Travel to Death Valley is limited to the low season (01 October through 30 April) due to extremely high temperatures which can cause system failures. No vehicles are allowed onto non-public, gravel-, dirt,- logging/forestry roads. Guests assume all responsibility for any expense or loss of time while traveling in restricted areas. Northern Surcharge Traveling within Alaska, Yukon and/or NWT is permitted but must be advised at the time of reservation. One-way Rental Fees One-way rentals to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, and New York City must be reserved and confirmed in advance. Fees on request. Storage Free storage of luggage and airline tickets is available. All storage is at Renter's risk. Security Deposit Rentals require a security deposit of $$750 An open credit card authorization is taken at departure for all rentals Security deposits must be made by credit card and are processed Deposits are refunded when the vehicle is returned complete with all equipment in a clean and undamaged condition Repairs/Maintenance Responsibility Our fleet of vehicles is in top mechanical condition. In the unlikely event that a mechanical failure occurs, guests are authorized to proceed with the necessary repairs up to $100. For expenses over $100, guests must telephone the rental station for authorization before proceeding with repairs. Replacement parts must be returned to the rental station for reimbursement. Guests assume full responsibility for damage to tires and undercarriage. Oil, tire pressure and coolant must be checked at each refueling. Costs for oil will be refunded upon presentation of receipts. The company's responsibility is limited to the refund of the daily gross rate, or portion thereof, if the breakdown repair is longer than 48 hours. Insurance Terms Public Liability Insurance to cover accidents in the event that the Renter is at fault. The policy protects the rental company for US$ 1,000,000 and the Renter/Driver to Statutory Limits. A US$750.00 deductible for Accidental Damage: "Accidental Damage" includes but is not limited to: (i) Motor vehicle accident; (ii) Vehicle theft; (iii) Vandalism; (iv) Fire; (v) Windshield & glass damage. If Renter's motor home vacation is interrupted by an automotive mechanical breakdown for more than 12 working hours after reporting such to the RV rental station, the Renter will be reimbursed for the greater of: (i) the gross daily rate or: (ii) expenses for hotel rooms up to US$ 25.00 per person per night and car rental up to US$50.00 per day per motor home to a maximum of US$1,500.00 per tour. Receipts for all incurred expenses must be presented for refund. Radio, TV / VCR / DVD / CD / Cassette Tape, generator, air conditioning, fridge, cruise control, awning, slide-out malfunction, etc. are not considered to be mechanical breakdowns. The following losses are not covered if damage is caused by: Negligent Damage Unlimited responsibility for Negligent Damage:"Negligent Damage" refers to accidents caused as a result of Driver's negligence and includes but is not limited to:(i) accidents occurring off road; (ii) accidents occurring while backing up; (iii) damage above windshield caused by striking overhead objects, undercarriage damage (including tires and wheels); (iv) all damages to slide-out and awnings;(v) damage caused by freezing of the vehicles systems (it is not permitted to fill water- and/or waste tanks when temperatures are below freezing - please see Winterization) Deliberate or willful damage caused by renter or guests Personal contents are not covered Failure to maintain all fluid levels Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Traveling in restricted areas Carrying more passengers than having seat belts available Failure to use specified fuel Operation by anyone under 25 years of age unless approved Additional liability coverage can be purchased as described below: Supplemental Liability - SLI $9 per day SLI provides the customer with an increased limit of liability protection for up to US$1,000,000 toward a 3rd party. Notes: No coverage is provided for travelers and their belongings in the rented vehicle under either policy. |
